d**n bud…hope things turn around for you and  Donna.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Thanks guys.

She had some skin cancer removed from the top of her head today.
She has more to have removed in 2 weeks.
It's freaking her out as you can imagine.

Long day.
Went in at 8am.
Left there about 2PM.

Two sessions.
The first didn't get it all, so they had to peel more skin off and retest.

Afterwards, two skin grafts with 17 stiches outside, 9 inside, and 11 staples.

Now she is dealing with the pain.
I want to take it away for her but I can't.
Helpless.
Tonight, will be rough.

The worst part is that she has more to have removed in 2 weeks.
That remaining cancer is slightly smaller, still..............

Sux!!!

Again, thanks!

She has to sleep upright in the chair one more night.  But the pain has diminished a bit.  Especially compared to last night.
She is looking forward to being able to take shower in the morning.

She's in there now Wally.
She was REALLY looking forward to it.
This morning the head hurt slightly less she said.

When she is finished, we are heading to the landfill.
 :thumbup_smilie:

I'm a regular over there.
It's about 8-10 miles from my house.
We generated so much cardboard from the move, and Amazon purchases to outfit the house, it's easier to simply break down the boxes, fill my truck, and haul it to the dump.
Leaving it for trash day means it's part of the "recycle" waste.
That stuff goes into a blue garbage tote, and I would need 100 of them to handle the cardboard each week.
This will probably be the last trip I think.

Donna is doing much better guys.
I'm very happy for that.

However...........................

Here's the new "shaft up my butt" -

Most of you know we bought a motor home.
And we did a ton of work to it - $$$
Well, a tree came down on it during the hurricane.
And the insurance company is totaling it.
We are unsure of the amount, but I went online and looked up the NADA and it is somewhere between $15-18K.
We have about $40k into it.
lol   :rotflol: :rotflol: :rotflol:

Here's is where it really gets good.

The insurance company now tells me the deductible is $10,000

A month or so back I decided to take it off the road.
So, I also decided to remove the glass coverage and the collision to save a few bucks.
I kept the comprehensive of course.
The original deductible was $1000.
During the change, the deductible "somehow" got changed.
I didn't ask for it or approve it.
However, the new policy came in the mail, and I never noticed that change.
So..........I never questioned it or had it converted back to $1000.

So now I have roughly a $40,000 motorhome that the insurance company is totaling for maybe $15-18,000 (or whatever), and my deductible is $10,000 of that.
So, my loss will probably be in the $30,000+ neighborhood that I will have to eat.

Sucks Mac. Tequila and Bourbon won't fix this. You may have to switch to weed for awhile. Good luck.

Too late to cancel the claim? Maybe try and fix or sell to recover some of the loss? Man that sucks
