Shark Attack!

(1/2) > >>

lowaccord66:
We left port Sunday 7pm and headed out half way to where we wanted to start searching for tuna.  What was suppose to be a brief stop for stripers turned into a 830pm to 6am bass every drift trip.  Unfortunately it looked like some makos wanted to play and then came carnage.

Morning came and we started to head towards where the yellowfin have been but I had no juice left.  So we took a quick limit of seabass and headed back to the marina.  The plan was to troll for tuna yesterday in the rain but the east wind kicked up and killed that mission.  So we ended up jigging the housatonic for smallies and did quiet well.  Flow was 300 at 10am and was 1000 by the time we were done!

westernmas:
Good stuff Jon.  Looks like you hammered em!

stripernut:

Nice job!
Surprised you did not drop a "heavy" line with some leftovers on it to play with the uninvited dinner guest...

SHaRPS:
This sight is becoming more and more common. Worst part is you cannot even keep the bass once chomped.

Mac Attack:
Hey, you got a lot of half fillets.

Nice job
