i think the single hook rule aswell as the leader requirment to be stpid they nolonger allow snaging so it isnt needed to prevent foul hooking any one that itentionly foul hooks wuld be delt with by true fisherman i know i would call him in rightaway plugs work great on big trout and they dont come with and arent desighned for single hook

That is a terrible rule. Like usual, our lawmakers make theoretical solutions to problems; ones that sound good but don't work in practice. Remember ,in theory communism is a good idea, but is it in practice?

Therefore, they need to ask anglers' opinions as we are the ones that are out there, not them.
