Last night screwed up didn't dress warm enough got out of stand early went to start walking in and there were 2 big deer that winded me and walked off ...then just about dark saw something very dark working its way through...was a big porcupine didn't shoot it but today researched them and say there good eating so tonight if i see it gonna try and wack it ...my taxidermist said I can bring it by and skin it and I can have the carcass and he'll mount it

Interesting. Never even thought about eating a porky. We have plenty of them around here.

Must do it in a slow cooker. If not it will be chewy. Good taste.

First day on the job. I needed a diversion from raking leaves and climbing adk hills so I set a couple traps. Now I'm going to try Beaver in the slow cooker.
