Schoharie Reservoir

  I was wondering if anyone had any info about shore fishing the Schoharie reservoir. I have obtained a NYC fishing permit but was wondering if this would be a good place to try? as well as bring my 9 year old?  thanks

 New York Outdoor News just had their lake profile on this spot. I forgot what week it was exactly. I think the most recent, but they always have pretty good info.

Last year it good till about the 4th of july then it was hard to find active fish.  This year it was not good at all.  Only a few good days.
