I've actually had some time to fish after work this week and had a couple of productive outings. Monday I took the kayak out for a few hours and caught about 10 cookie cutter bass that were like 12oz. However, on my way back to the launch the sun had just dipped below the horizon and I pulled in an almost 4lber. The mosquitoes turned on as the sun set and I called it a night after a few more casts.
Last two evenings I've hit the Chesterfield gorge. The rain didn't do the road along the river any favors. I'd be surprised if smaller cars can pass a few spots. Yesterday I got the big skunk although the flows seemed a little better, albeit still quite high. The evening prior I pulled in two 10" rainbows and one nicely colored brown at about 14".

Good on you for getting out and catching some fish despite less than ideal (at least on the rivers) conditions!

Nice work!
