Tried out the new propane burner today and made some pickled banana peppers.  I was nice having the mess in the garage and not in the house

Nice thick pork chop on the Weber.

Garden mashed tater casserole, green beans and mushrooms done  my way.

Sure beat the festival food I had this weekend.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

All the grub looks amazing. Hard to believe people still find time to fish with all the cooking going on!

Hahah.  With the amount of hours working haven’t had time to fish in 2 weeks..  But we’re almost out of flowers so things will slow down and I can get a day or 2 off.. 8)

I’m with you on that one Dom. All the tournaments are over. No more 5 day weeks. Still several outings and the grass doesn’t stop growing. But, I only have to do 3 days a week now….unless I volunteer to help my Son changing pin  and tee locations.on the weekends, which I thoroughly enjoy. Might be some extra days for aerification and verticutting and such. I need to learn those procedures.

Anyway, big pot of Minestrone on the stove. House smells fantastic. Loaf of my home made bread to go with.

Yup - kind of a soup day for sure Bob.

I took a container of chili out of the freezer for dinner tonight.
I have some oyster crackers, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and a bottle of Franks to go along with it.

And of courase 2 (or 3) cans of Founders All Day IPA to flush things.

Tomorrow.............back out to the lake.
Life is friggen awesome.

Chili sounds good Mac. Might be the next cook in a week or so. Temps dropped 10 degrees this afternoon.

Come on spicy soup!
