Got a question. When do they start dropping the water levels in the lake?

It's already getting low with the lack of rain and I don't want to come home one day to a stranded boat. Thanks,

They probably have started dropping them. According to this it is on the high end but it seems a little low to me. Much lower and my boat might get stuck on the hoist...

Thanks, reeleyz. That's why I was asking. I was barely able to get my boat out yesterday with the hoist dropped all the way. Looks like I'll take it out tomorrow to be safe.

I am probably going to pull mine too. It needs a good bath anyways.

I got out early this morning. I casted sticks shallow and picked up 2 keepers and a short. Then I trolled after sunrise and picked up my 3rd keeper in about 10 minutes.

Nice job on the quick trip, reeleyz.

I just pulled the boat out. Tried tossing the sticks again as long as I was out there. 5 eyes and 2 stinking pickerel.

Nice job. I think casting sticks is my favorite way to catch them. They hit hard this time of year.

I pulled my boat too but I plan on making several more trips. I marked a ton of fish in one of my favorite spots. I think it's going to be a good fall.  ;D

Exactly. Hoped I'd find a concentration of perch but all singles. With no wind I put the electric on 2 and dragged along at .4mph popping two rods off bottom w the 5/8 gold XPS. Tried small jig rap but too many gobies on that.
