Big Swartswood

:(  Tried the big lake for crappie for six hours Friday. ZIP, NADA, BLANKED, WATER-HAUL. Fished fatheads and small shiners shallow behind the island near the boat launch (it's open). Not a touch with a finesse presentation going on 2 rods. Water temp started at 41-42 and ended with the wind blowing the top warmer water in to the swim beach where it hit 47-48. The water was murky which seems strange, about 2-2.5 foot visibility. Marked lots of fish from shallow to deep which I assume where high in the water column. Not much marked on the bottom although a few showed at 4-6 in the shallows. Did not make any difference what I put in the water or how deep, lock-jaw was the order of the day.
