well, just found the site figured i'd start a thread. just got back from soft water fishing here in coralville. about the 5th time i've gone out since ice. every other time i've gone below the tube at the res. had some good luck there few eyes and some cat. today i went out and threw some rapala's at a pond in coralville. caught about 3 or 4 bass about 12-15" and a nice 10" crappie. great to be out catching fish again. after the first fish i realized i forgot my camera to take pics for you guys. maybe next time.

What is the best fishing for the Mississippi? Walleye, Sauger, Northern... What? I am just curious. Not much luck here. I just went today out to Norwalk's lake and had only a bite..... ARG! I MISSED IT TOO!!!
