WHAT A GREAT DAY TO BE OUT
« on: May 16, 2021, 02:14 PM »
Willow Slough is very weedy. Had to fish just outside the channels. Took a couple hours to find them Picked up 1 here and another there. Finally after a couple hours found a decent area. Left with 23 nice quality fish. Only was able to be on the water for around 4 hours total. Son had to get home. Next time I know where to start the day and with any luck should fill the freezer. LOL. Then it will be time to start perching.  The females are bursting and males are spraying.

Hot day, and I don't mean the bite. Weeds r making it very tough. Brought 10 home. Think I may be done here for the year?
