What is the preferred method to store a fish to be mounted?

Freeze in a wet towel and then put that in a garbage bag. Push the air out of the bag and wrap with tape.
I can't stress enough that not all taxidermists have the same abilities. There are some that do great game heads but have no business taking in fish. Make sure you are happy with what you see for the species you want mounted.

Thank for the quick reply. My buddies use a guy that does work for Shed aquarium, Top notch work.
