I was down there yesterday afternoon.  I thought for sure the crappie would be shallow, but I found most of them in the 8-10' depth.  Water temp was 74 degrees, and it looked to be around 1-2' high from summer pool.  I think they were pulling it down fairly hard last week, so that could be the reason the fish weren't where I expected them to be.  It was a typical day at the salimonie for me.  I had a dozen keepers, biggest almost 13", and nothing under 10"   I threw back another 30 fish or so that were under 10".  There is always lots of small crappie to weed through when I go there.
