43° was the high today. It was a slick icy mess this morning. Even the dog fell on his butt. Still 42° and raining. 0.93" so far.

27 now and the wind is blowing hard. Heard a limb crash off the neighbor's maple tree. Hope it didn't damage anything. Just heard the plow o me through. Must be salting. Just a dusting of snow.

A wood framed building under construction in Geneva blew down yesterday. Looked to be 50-60' clear span trusses on the main portion of the building.They had most of the standing seam roof on it but apparently no wind bracing. Only the windward side was sheathed. A couple guys got hurt, but not seriously according to the news.

As soon as I saw the pictures, I knew Somebody wasn't thinking!
