So the day I had been eagerly anticipating arrived, appropriately, on Father's Day weekend.  Had an opportunity to visit and assist a friend's mother her first day at her camp and introduce my son to his first fish.  His curiosity and lack of fear were extremely rewarding to see.  I am hopeful that his interest continues and this is the beginning of a journey with a new fishing buddy....

Wow, Mike, GREAT photo    Congrats.  Big sunfish.....I would be happy to catch them like that on my ice jig pole.

Thanks everyone!!  It was my best only because it was the first I could share with our little guy. 

It was a quick cast from shore with my 4 weight before upsizing the rod to head over to more productive waters.  Heading over to same friend’s camp momentarily.  Looking to share a few laughs and some time on the water.
