My first day of the season

I got out of work at 11am today . I hadn't been out fishing yet so I grabbed a pole . All I could find was a jig pole for icefishing.  I headed to the stream with some worms . heres a look at what I got into .



this one looked different then the others it also had bugs and sand in its belly the others didn't






I got home  cleaned those fish and got my son off the school bus . Then returned to the brook with him and my wife . They did ok to .

My sons first trout . Hes a bass guy .

Time to get the fry pan out .

I was thinking about it this winter while jigging . Then after lefty's deal I just had to try fishing with it . Its kinda handy fishing streams with it .
