I took the weekend off but hit the lake tonight. Had a nice walleye chop coming in and it was spitting rain. Not hot and heavy but there were a few around.  Kept 3 for dinner tomm.

I checked the stomachs of the fish when I cleaned them this am. One was empty, one had 2 shad, and the third eye had 25 shad in his belly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many in an eye. Ummm...Mr fish why are you still trying to eat??   Reminded me of myself when I go to the crab leg buffet  :-[

Holy crap we shouldn’t  have to always bust our humps to get them , this makes up for those cold , wet miserable nights , release dam near melted the other night 🤪

I don’t always catch walleye....but when I do it’s because they are gorging themselves until the point of passing out and would probably hit a moving cigarette butt with a hook in it.

Well done Sully ,
sully talked me into going last night and the wind was howling
It was a wonder I could feel a strike with the bow I had in my line , at least it wasn’t cold
And I got lucky , and headed home early , also a fish washed up that had choked on its meal , that’s what greed gets ya

Nice catch Fred. Man U guys are diehards. I chickened out with that ripping wind.....the main problem with being a walleye is that your walleye friends can’t do the Heimlich when you’re choking  because they have no arms
