 no joke where are the trout ?
                      they usually stock the brooks and rivers by now and i havn't heard anything ..mass has stocked two weeks ago are we in a different time zone here ?anyone had any luck in the brooks or rivers or seen or heard anything ?

  the water temps are still too cold in new hampshire still   its warmer waters in mass about 5 degrees difference   which wuill affect fish activity    stock trucks will be coming soon     i bet week after next   just my 2 centz

I AGREE THAT THE TEMPS ARE BELOW MASS BUT TOO COLD I DON'T THINK SO TROUT ARE A COLD WATER SPECIES SIMPLE ACLIMATION WILL ALLOW STOCKING... THEY CUT HOLES IN THE ICE THIS WINTER TO STOCK THE SURPLUS BREEDER BROWNS .. THEY ALWAYS STOCK THE RIVERS BEFORE THE OPENING DAY OF PONDS !!!

They have stocked both branches of the Sugar River in newport/sunapee.....people have been getting some nice fish up here already. A friend saw a young kid with a nice trout by sunapee bedding on 11/103.
