           DD I am heading up to Alton Bay Sunday Thats assuming the ice has gone out past Sandy Point Resort.It was looking pretty thin and with this weeks temps then that should happen.Don't know where you are planning on going but if your in the Bay. Look for a Starcraft 17 footer white with blue stripes may have a blue Bimini top but if weather is good we will be topless.I am usually between Sandy Point Resort and Black Point going back and forth.

I am not sure where I would launch.  I always launched out of Ames Farm when I fished the lake with my dad when I was a kid. I have not seen any reports about that area being ice free though.  The boat I will be fishing in is a 16' 1964 Starcraft that is white with a single red strip down the side.  If the sun is up, look for the glare off of my head!

  I got the heads up from a friend of mine who stays at Ames Farm for the derby that they have no docks to use for the derby.I am not sure if they are still able to use the boat ramp either.Something to do with permits for putting new docks in.Check in there before planning on using the boat ramp just to be sure

I'll Probly launch out of silver sands troll out thru the bay then move north. Too much traffic to stay in the bay.
