cant be, they don't reproduce and im guessing they don't stock this small

Actually, there are wild tiger trout (they can be produced in the wild, but are sterile themselves).  Here is an example of one that I captured while electrofishing:





As those of you wondering about tiger trout can see, these fish are much different than those shown above.

Don Miller has confirmed the correct species, as many also have..it has just not been released in this thread :)

It will be interesting to hear his response. Gut feeling says, they were stocked but took to the July currents.  :)
