Rough year here in Indiana too.  Crazy wet spring followed by a drought and heat. Cucumbers are odd shaped and bitter, melons sprouted then did nothing until about a week ago, zucchini plants are huge but very few fruit and the onions never got bigger than golf balls. Very disappointing year.

Raided my garden this morning.

Nice pile of pickles and peppers.

16 jars of pickles and 6 jars of pickles peppers.

Plus a couple jars of experimental pickled peppers done with my favorite pickle recipe.

Should have worn gloves.  My hands are burning still.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I hope you don’t wear contact lenses...

No, and I used caution while relieving myself. To be perfectly honest, I have arthritis in my hands and right now they feel pretty good.

Glad to hear it Bob.  My arthritis (knock on wood) has been great since May and I'm totally off arthritis meds. Summer is good for the hands and feet.

Nice stash from the garden. My new garden is hitting on all cylinders and outgrowing its space. My wife just made tomato sauce and served up scallops over pasta with home made sauce from  the garden. I am blessed to have a wife so adept in the kitchen.

Love your operation Bart. Nicely condensedNd productive.

I pulled most of my tomatoes a few days ago. I got a pretty good batch to play with. Pickles are just about done.  Hopefully the weather will come around and I can start my fall planting. Beans are on a roll. I'll have to string them up in the next few days.

The season continues.

Man I sure wish I did these raised beds years ago.... Pulled the zuchinni, tomatos are really cranking, vines are still, productive but winding down. Peppers are really cranking and showing color, brussles are starting to get some size. Man I'm in heaven.... 8)
