Chukar
« on: May 17, 2006, 06:53 PM »
Was leaving my mom's on Sunday (Happy Mother's Day, Mom!), and had barely gotten out of the driveway when I noticed a critter in the road -

Got practically on top of it, and it didn't seem to mind the car at all.  Bird was less than 20' away when my wife took these out of the passenger window -

First time I've ever seen one.  Quite a striking bird.

Brand-spanking new digital Rebel XT SLR.  Those shots were taken with the Canon 17-85mm EF-S IS USM lens, and the second two shots were cropped down to 800x~600 pixels from their original 3456x2304 size.

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

GOOD PRATICE BIRDS, sell em cheaper than pheasants and they fly better the pigeons. Great for training the dogs.
Internet heros give it a rest!
