Reminds me more of a downsized PWC.  I wonder what they cost? Couldn't find out at the link.

It looks like those things might be propelled by a jet motor.

Do they get plugged up by sucking in weeds like so many jet boats. Especially if run in 4 inches of water.

I have a friend in Alaska who has one.  Called a Mokai Kayak. I used it on the Kenai fiver and it was able to deal with the river OK. It was LOUD! The motor pops out for easy maintenance and transport. Made in the USA.

Thanks for the link. Looks like between 5 and 6 grand. Maybe a little less in the lower 48.

I think I'll stick to my Hobie with Mirage Drive. I don't like the sound of motors on the water especially if they are loud.

Agree, it seemed like a trail bike equivalent for fast moving rivers. It was great fun zooming around in the fast water, but not very practical for most of the fishing and hunting I do in NY. I have a 25 year old LL Bean Predator. It runs all day on a ham sandwich and a can of beer (Ok, maybe 2).

It's basically a jet ski, not a kayak.
