White Mountains Streams
« on: Sep 13, 2020, 07:39 AM »
Hope all is well with everyone and you are all safe...it’s been one odd summer to say the least  :cookoo:.  it’s been yrs since I’ve been deep in the woods fishing, and with the advice of a friend I loaded up my fishing gear an backpack and hit the trails...some trail side breakfasts and hammock time....makes it all worth while. NH truly is a beautiful place to be anytime of the year ....

Was up there a couple of summers ago as I have on and off since I was a kid back in the late 60's.  Truly beautiful!

Am considering painting a few stream size replica brook trout in native colors on a wall hanging stream rock background and shipping it to the Flume Welcome Center free of charge as all they had there were two species that are not representative of fish or a native fish in the stream, a rainbow trout and a yellow perch. The yellow perch was very old and poorly done although the rainbow wasn't too bad. Will probably wait until I slow down or retire from taxidermy in a few months.
