Title: Lewis Creek
Post by: anglerbrian on Nov 02, 2014, 07:01 PM
Fished Lewis Creek  (Imperial creek) today for a couple of hours. Caught three pike all small. The majority of fish must have moved into the main lake (Last Mountain) looking for deeper water. I hadnt fished here for a few years but it is a spot you can drive to and shore fish. This can be pretty good in the spring for Walleye and Pike.

Good to hear you fond some fish anglerbrian.  :)

I have had some luck there early to mid spring, but never tried later on in the year.
I have heard that it got really weedy in the summer and a bit too warm for the cool water loving bigger pike.
I thought some the bigger fish might have move back into there once the water cooled. :-\

Hey W.W.  I thought the big girls might have moved in as well but just little buggers for me.  I know once it freezes good there are pike Walleye and perch to be had in the main lake just away from the creek a bit.
If this wind ever dies down I'm going to give it a try.

Hi anglerbrian,
I have heard that the ice fishing can be good at times just a ways out from the creek, but have never tried it, yet. ;)

Good luck when you try it.
