Best of both worlds - open water and ice fishing!

Anyone from the Turtle Lake area? I grew up in the area and was wondering if anyone on here is in that area. Parents used to have a cottage up at Crooked Lake, and also used to fish Sakakawea.

Hey, I am from the washburn area just about 20 minutes from turtle lake. Havent fished all those lakes up there very much, just a couple times. Will hopefully make some more fishing trips up there and to sakakawea this summer. fished sakakawea a few weeks ago for pike through the ice with decent succes.
