Took me 2 hours to find my glasses this morning. I've decided I need another pair so I can see to find my glasses when I misplace them. Searched high and low till I finally found them on the floor in the bathroom. I must have knocked them off he counter when I took my shower last night.
Very frustrating.

lol, I have 4 pairs of glasses. The only time I can find one is when I have it hanging on my shirt collar. Otherwise I gotta ask my wife what she did with them!!!! 8)

As my father says,"I believe in the hereafter". Half the time he walks into a room and asks himself "What the heck am I here after?"

Phew! I thought I was alone.
They've asked me if I wanted to learn how to run a register at Lowes. I have a form numerical dyslexia that causes me to transpose numbers. I told them no way was I going to be responsible for cash in a drawer.

I see well with glasses but without them I am just lost. However, for really close work, like tying on a hook or threading a needle, I have to take the glasses off. A few times I have moved to do something like answer the phone and could not find my glasses when I returned. I know they are in a certain room, I just can't see them to find them! I'm sure you would do just fine on a cash register Bob because you have acquired a life time of common sense. A couple days ago I had a bill of $19.81 at the hardware store. I handed the very nice young lady a twenty. She gave me back $20.81 in change. I was baffled. I explained that was not correct and she did it again. Then she was baffled! jperch

jperch it sounds like it's time for varilux (bifocals) for you. I finally bit the bullet and did it last winter, and love them. Reading is a pleasure again. Before it was look over the lenses.

I've been wearing Varilux for 20 years. The optometrist prescribed bifocals and I nearly killed myself walking down a set of concrete stairs. So,I got Varilux and never went back.

I used to be a disrespectful whelp too, but somehow I survived it and now I'm considered an elder by some... but I still feel young... except for the heart meds, bad back, vision loss and where the heck did all my hair go???
