I dug out spots in the tunnel and placed them in

Gotta think like a mole :w00t:

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

So I decided that my lettuce and strawberries needed some shade. Got a roll of burlap from Lowes this morning.

Everyone looked very happy when I got home from work today.

You have way too much free time on your hands.  :D

My garden looks like a tangled mess and yours looks like a green-thumb  museum. Looks great!

On a side note, these mystery seeds sprung up everywhere this spring in my garden and lawn so out of curiosity I kept a bunch and transplanted them in the back fringe of my garden.  Mystery solved tonight - sunflowers,  I did get a new bird feeder this winter so the critters probably buried the seeds about - they are going to look cool when  they fully bloom.

It'll come soon enough. Can't imagine what it will look like then. "Working" 4 hours a day has it's benefits.

Well, I'm about to pull the pickles and cukes to make room for a fall crop. I'm thinking spinach, radishes and snap peas. There's enough pickles out there to put up another good batch. We should have 40 or so jars to hold us over. On those frigid mid winter Sunday afternoons , my son and I like to play cards and have a couple beers and, of course, munch some pickles.

Only a few months left to play in the dirt :(

Today's pickle harvest.

I left a cuke and one pickle plant. They're still producing.
