Lowes's has 4 full timers 7 days a week and they don't do all they should. I've been recruited many times to water. Thing is, I really don't mind. Any chance to commune with my green friends is ok by me. I can feel them getting happy. Sure glad it's not a job.

My gardens get the same good karma. I appreciate them more than I can describe.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I have never had this problem before, maybe someone can confirm my suspicion. Is there anything other than deer that would chow on hostas?

The deer eat the blossoms on my hostas, but not the leaves. Must be flatland deer Fred :-\ ;D

Anyone have any experience with gardens that are accidentally sprayed with herbicide?

I’m pretty sure it’s toast. I think it was R2D, and after a lawn treatment on a hot day the drift got our gardens. I will know more this afternoon once they confirm what was applied, and how much. If they used R2D for broadleaf weeds, I don’t think anything will be safe for Consumption. This really sucks...

My biggest concern is the dirt, and if any systemic based chemicals will persist into next year.

I guess this means we will have more time for fishing, but it’s frustrating. Fresh veggies from the garden cannot be beat.

Could you mean 2-4D herbicide?
