You’ve got me thinking about the wren houses. May not put them out next year.

On a gardening note, had tomatoes and cukes from the garden for dinner last night. It’s about time!

Pulled some Hungarian Wax, Serrano and Anaheim peppers. Tried canning in a red sauce, hoping to have something that will compliment a nice cheese plate.

Now if only the photos would upload in chronological order....

Should have some really good zing anyway. I have one Cayenne pepper plant that’s got a bunch of green peppers on it. I dry them and make a ground pepper out of it. Ive got a pretty good stock from last year so I didn’t plant many this year.

Inside in the middle, looks like too much water, have put epsom salts on the beds to try to remedy. Also might have been over watering.

There’s so many things that affect tomatoes. Could be Anthracnose, a fungal infection that enters through a wound in the skin.
I think its usually associated with Blossom End Rot.

Not sure what Epsom Salts will do. Please let us know. I like an organic solution to a problem.

sounds like blossom end rot to me Wich is more typical this time if year with heavier dew at night also happens when get a lot of rain on plants.  Air flow to plants is crucial prune constantly.  Also not sure how you are watering but overhead is not best drip irrigation is best for tomatoes keeping plants foliage and fruits dry ruduces a lot of problems and is cheap to set up

My pruning is terrible to start, our first time doing large beds. Definitely should have topped some of them, we will find the groove next year. We still havce enough for us, the other ones are all good and plentiful.
