Just shy of 1” so far today. Think it’ll get well over that by the time this weather passes.

Been a wet summer.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Haven’t had to water my garden much.
1 1/4” Wednesday. Emptied it last night just before it started raining again and this since then..

That’s a lot of water again. The course was really saturated this morning. Had to skip a couple fairways mowing. I’ll catch them tomorrow before the tournament. It’ll be a hustle to get them mowed and blown off. Those left haven’t been mowed since Tuesday. That’s a lot of growth to mow. They’re normally done 3 days a week. Guess grass doesn’t know it’s not supposed to grow.

Gardens are really happy though.

A lot of rain WW.
And think we were in a drought the end of spring.
Oneida lake will be a mess for a couple weeks….

Nice!
I have to start freezing beans. They’re coming on strong.

My wife and I froze 10 dozen ears of corn yesterday, about 80% off the cob. I've been making a ton of zucchini breads too, some for the freezer and plenty to give away. Pickling banana peppers this week and maybe pickles

Nice! I’m down to beans and tomatoes.

I still have a few tomatoes and peppers left. Pulled the last of the beans and will pick what’s left of the cucumbers and clean that bed out.  It was a good year but I’m ready to take the electric fence down and let the deer have at it…
