Anyone fish Lake Washagami/near Sudberry, Ont.?
« on: Jun 27, 2006, 11:43 AM »
I'll be fishing this lake in two weeks, not far from Sudberry (north of Lake Huron). Just wanted to see if any of you guys fish this lake or others in the area. Guess I'm wondering about forage, avg. size of fish, etc.

Species include smallies, pike, and walleyes.

Sorry I can't help you out there Arthur and even though I have fished a few lakes in the Sudbury area this one doesn't ring a bell for me . :-\

Thanks, TD.

I know it's not terrible large, average depth is 25ft.

In general, what's the area like? Just wonderering about size of fish. What types of patterns to expect...

Well, I'm back. Not a good lake as far as I can tell. Seems to have modest numbers of stunted smallies. Fished almost like a dead lake (which it was in the 60s).
