I just got back an hour or so ago.
I hiked 4 miles into a natural reservoir (2 creeks form it, huge, huge beaver dam; also a rock slide caused it).
Hardly anyone else in the world knows it exists. In two days, (friday, saturday, and even sunday morning) I caught well over 200 trout, mostly brook trout and rainbow trout, but a few cutthroat as well. A roughly, state-record brookie (about 26" long and really fat) followed my spinner in, but saw me and swam off. I caught some really nice brookies though, a lot of 15"ers. I also got a rainbow about 19". not bad for a high-mountain lake!
