Couldn't  wait till this weekend.

They're in the smoker now. Thought it would be the perfect desert for country pork ribs on the Weber with garden fresh wax beans and a salad.

Patiently waiting for the finished product.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

They were pretty good. Taste was awesome. Had them in at 250 for about 2 1/2 hours. They could have cooked for another hour I think and at 275. They were huge apples.

They'd be easy on the Weber. 350 for an hour or so and they'd be done. Might even do that and just add a few apple wood chunks to the coals for smoke.

But, that's the other thread😁

I need to pick another bag of wax beans this morning. There's a bunch out there. The cayenne pepper plant is still going wild with peppers. I may have to freeze a bunch of them green if we get a frost.

Stop guys, im in the hospital  :'.

I kid about the stopping, but I'm really here. Pancreatitis and perhaps colitis of some kind. So im on a clear liquid only diet till all the tests go. Had a terrible cup of beef broth last night, man it was so good after 2 days and 3 nights of nothing.

Hospitals suck! Especially when you have to eat their food.

Hope you get straightened out quick bud. Good vibes coming your way!

Still no hard frost here. No below freezing temps in the 15 day forecast. Flowers are starting to fade. But, my pepper plants just keep on going. Picked another big bag of wax beans the other day.

Lots of cleanup gardening to do this weekend.

Yikes! Got up to 71 here today. 50's tonight.

Not so bad being a flatlander.

Same here Bob, Peppers are firing on all cylinders! Trying pickled beets for the first time. Any advice from my fellow gardners?
