Another question for kayak anglers here
« on: May 07, 2019, 09:55 AM »
Thinking of building a stand up bar for my kayak. I will already have DIY stabilizers. Do you think it's a must?

I don’t feel a stand up bar is a must, but is personal preference. I feel like one would get in the way.

Agreed. Unless you NEED it, I would say do not add it.

Thank you gentlemen!

Already will have a downrigger, fish finder, two anchors, raised seat and an outrigger! I was questioning where to put the anchor points for the stand up bar!

I think you are approaching turning a really good kayak in to a tiny (weird) bass boat!
