Turtle Fishing Lures?

According to the June issue of In-Fisherman and their bass research article, bass will not eat small turtles but simply spit them back out during their tests.  Supposedly bass do not like the sensation of the turtles clawing around in their mouth and stomachs and I probably wouldn't either .  Bass will also supposedly not eat toad tadpoles nor will they eat bullfrog tadpoles and quickly learn to tell the difference and avoid them unless they are starving.  They will readily eat leopard frog tadpoles though.  This is according to some in-depth scientific studies done recently by men far wiser than me.

I guess, sort of.  But turtles do have a lot of claws!!!!!!!

Theres not much that a crawfish can pinch in there.....but it's all fair game to the turtles claws

I found my turtle lure while digging around in the tackle box last weekend.

It 1.5 inches wide and 3 inches long.

It is a different little lure for sure, it came pre-rigged weedless.

I eather fish it near the surface the way it is or I attach a weight and fish it deeper.

I have caught a few little pike on it.
