I caught this carp today in my NY river,is it a freak?

I hit my local river "Susqeuhanna" today for bass and walleye.I latched into this weird looking Carp...Theres plenty of Common Carp here but I never seen these before in this river.....

IMO I think its a KOI someone threw in the river "Probably years ago" and it survived...Or its a freak of nature... ???

Another idea is someone tried to scale it once to eat,but then had second thoughts and threw it back... :-\

Thats what it looks like to me also,but it was in the Susky..By the way,its still swimming there.....

Mirror Carp, just a variation of the rather common Common Carp.

I fish for those "stupid fish" BASS. Largemouth Smallmouth Stripers, and even Rock bass.

AK isn't coming soon enough....can't wait to fight with 1 grizzly for 100,000 fish instead of 1,000 snaggers for 10.

The walleye bite has been on the past couple days.My buddy got his biggest walleye ever yesterday at 21".We hit the river hard with my Jet Boat this week and it paid off.
