I just heard that Ray Brown passed today in A car accident, he was kind of A big deal on the lake. He was one of my scout masters in the late 70's, he was an avid duck hunter and had A lot of Golden retrievers as well back then. I learned how to pick bird shot out of overcooked duck there on more than one occasion. Really a great guy, even taking time for us kids, we caused him great anxiety on many occasions. He knew how to get them in the boat as well.

One last trip this morning. It was chilly but it was worth it.

The big girl swallowed the jig into her gills.

Might as well go self isolate on the boat the next 2 weeks, no nasty bugs this time of year and the fishing is great. You all know what to do. :)

Well eye fishing is officially closed but what a smoking hot week and we tossed some really nice fish back , I casted with the goon and BMV when he wasn’t working
Last night was a little tougher as the temps dropped enough that guides were freezing up , also can get several pickerel
