As far as the network not pulling IMUS off sooner till it was about the money, a bit of business savy is in order. Publicly traded coorporations have an obligation to their shareholders. Until advertisers pulled out en-mass, there was not a negative impact upon the financial statements, that would inturn effect the investors. Once the economic impact was realized, and then the trigger pulled. They would have been more guilty not responding to the best interests of the shareholders, than by acting, albeit after the fact, late.
One item that may assist white America would be a book published by minority communities outlining the words that we will hear daily, but are not allowed to repeat. The book should be up-dated monthly. This way we could continue the racist endeavors of Sharpton and Jackson.
If these fellers were ever to acknoweledge that equality has been achieved, then their soap box would be gone, and money stream diverted elsewhere.
Martin Luther and Rosa initiated efforts at achieving equality in the following ways:
equal access and pay for the same job......Done
equal access to home ownership and neighborhoods...Done
equal access to higher education.......Done
equal access to opening and running businesses.....Done
equal access to Busses and soda fountains....Done
As you can derive, we have actually exceeded equality in many cases, and now are guilty of reverse discrimination. Examples include extra credit on admissions apps for minority status, or Law School equivalency to minority quotas.
Ther is a Black Caucus, but not a white one allowed, a black Miss America, but not a white one allowed, Ebony Black television awards, but not white ones, NAACP, but not a NAAWP!
My many black friends are growing in condemnation of the men that preach to represent the black race and interests. They agree that equality has been achieved in most arenas, and that a counterproductive effort is underway by the likes of Sharpton and Jackson. My black friends also state that most of their friends dofeel that the likes of these gentlemen, no longer represent the black community beleifs and aspirations any longer.
