I wish Indiana would offer permanent plates and 3 year registration like Michigan does.
Don't count on it. We are one of the last states in the country when it comes to good ideas.
There's a lot of good things to say about being conservative with the budget and taking in as much revenue as possible, but there is a line between that and being downright stingy or ripping people off.
I believe if someone challenged the charging for plates for things not in use in court they could win, but that takes money.
