Nice bass, really like the smallie. They're definitely an underutilized resource on TOGA.

No boat traffic? Lucky you.

No boat traffic but I did manage to get stopped by the local militia(sheriff).Seems I was the only red bassboat on the lake that day.Someone reported a red bassboat going more than 5 mph under the bridge.Cop questioned me about 6 hours AFTER I went under the bridge. ???So of course he wanted to see my life jackets etc etc etc ..I was all legit though. He told me"he wasn't going to write me a ticket this time".I don't see how the heII he was going to write a ticket on someone else's word 6 hours later.Pretty sure my lawyer would of got me out of that one.

wow, what does sounds like a BS ticket. What a pain in the arse that must have been. Did you get stopped as you were pulling out of the water, or did he come out on the water looking for a red boat.  ::)

I don't think he could write you a ticket on hearsay 20 minutes afterward.
Sounds like he was just bored...

Got out this evening with BigRed and the wife even joined us for this one.We went to a few honey holes to try to get a bunch of fish in the short time we had.The first couple spots we tried produced 1 dink smally. So we stopped to hit some newer brushpiles and it payed off.We could see crappies herding minnows and on the feed.Heres a couple pics of them. All were over 13" except for 1.

Then the wife got in on the act with a sheepshead.

Started off slow but we did manage some nice ones as the sun set. Thanks for having us Lance. ;D

Too bad they're going to get their azz's kicked by my DOLPHINS opening day.Smak talk has been happening in my house since the schedule came out. :P
She's been a Steeler fan for over 30 years now.A VERY LOUD STEELER fan too! ;)She's also a Met fan so shes on cloud 9 now. ;D Hope she enjoys it while she can.

Bartman - I haven't trout fished in years.Since I'm on this ultra lite kick I may go chase some pond trout this fall. Its hard to take myself trout fishing when I know the bass and pike in the river are also going to be on the bite.Decisions,decisions.Everyone  should have such tough choices. :)
