got out on for a little crappie fishing today.didn't expect to catch another 200 plus again today but figured the fishing should be  pretty good at least with the dark skies and rain this morning. ended up being a slow day -had to move around  a lot to find the smaller active schools in the bay.out of the 80 crappie we caught only 20 were keepers in the 9.25 to 11 inch range -recent cold front must have slowed things down a bit.
                found a couple

  9 1/4 incher

               a decent one

another keeper

    crappie on ice

another runt.the cold front didn't stop these guys from slammin the tube jigs

at least i didn't have to fillet fish when i got home-gave mine away :P

Great crappies!  I know I've mentioned it before but I think your kid grows about 3 inches between posts.  We could use him on Marbury's basketball team.  ;)

fathers day catfishing trip.

got out for an afternoon of catfishin with my son ,brother and his boy-had our best day  of catfishing this year-22 fish landed in 4 hrs of fishing.got a bunch of 2-5lbers with a few real good ones mixed in

my 6 year old nephew hooked and landed the first cat of the day on the first cast-not a bad way to start the day

my son with a decent fish

my brother with another nice one

my nephews biggest of the day

my sons biggest cat- a little over 31"

 another 30 incher

 my 30 1/2  incher

kept some of the smaller ones for dinner and let the big ones go to get bigger
