grandlaker, sounds like the ice is going to out earlier than i expected. those lakers will be right on top with the salmon. i catch whitefish on top early also. no fireworks for me. i,m a quitet guy whos only interested in fishing and having a few beers with friends talking about the days fishing and last years hunting, trap all the f--ing coyotes you can find. i hate those stinking things.

deerhunter, let me know when you are coming. West Grand is locked up solid still, but the ice is junk, full of air, suppose to reach mid 50's later this week that will help,
