Nice fishes, lowaccord and WesternMass.

I tried some of the local streams and ponds in my neck of the woods yesterday, but, alas, without any success whatsoever.

I did see my first salamanders of the year, though.

It was the first time I held a spinning rod (as opposed to a jig stick or tip up) in my hands since December.

The streams were cold, fast and high, but not as turbid as I had expected.

Thanks Jim.  Fished this evening.  Got skunked.  Water was 200 cfs and cold.  My type of social distancing.

Got out all day yesterday.  Found a pod of stockies and let them have it.  12 hrs fishing 2 hours of catching.  Double digits all on a pair of pheasant tails.

Sweet.  That's quite a total, even if you did have to put your time in to do so.

Only got out for an hour tonight but must have found a pack of fresh stockers.  Landed about a dozen on a sculpin snack streamer.  Was nice to take a break from euro nymphing and touch actual fly line.

Found a group of rainbows ignoring the social distancing rules this evening.  It took about 2 hours to spread them out between the euro setup and my streamer rod.  I did them a favor!

Pat if you need easy target practice Ill tell you where.

Work has been eating up a lot of my time but I just learned that the deadline for the project that I'm working on was extended to Sept. 2021 due to everything going on in the markets.  Hopefully I'll be able to get down there after work now.

Nice!  Great to see.  Gorgeous bow.

Averi will be dawning some kids waders soon enough.  We're very much in getting her interested in fly fishing mode.

This weekend was another slay fest...although all stocked fish they were fun...even caught a 1 eyed breeder...
