Don't know that I can make that happen.  I def want to go but would need to plan that a bit more in advanced.  Although I did just send my passport in for renewal.

No clue would trade the stillwater fishing for the rivers.  Real question is do I go for a Dorado or not.

Ah, the golden demons.  That would be something completely different. Hope the trip materializes for you.

Fished yesterday from 330 to 7.  Couple of swipes on a 5" articulated streamer and one blow up on a mouse after dark and thats all she wrote.  Flow 600-800.

Got up early and hit what seemed to be a very short bite window.

Pretty morning!

Game on. Unseasonably warm yesterday. I was able to pick up one holdover in the main stem of the Westfield.

Nice job, Pat!

As far as I know, that's the first "big stream" (as opposed to little brook) catch in MA this calendar year.

I hit the farmington for a few hours and was instantly turned off by the crowds chasing the freshly stocked pellet heads.  I went deeper into the woods and got a nice skunking.

Thanks Jim.  I was pleasantly surprised to get on at this spot.  The water was pretty high and stained but swinging a heavy fly got it into the feed zone.

Been my hesitation to fish it the last couple of years.  Since covid its kind of been a canal scene.  Have only really gone at night.
