KC don’t you usually go to Kansas or Illinois or some place out there to hunt?
You normally have a nice one in the freezer by now.. ;D

Yes you are right about that. Kansas is where I went for 8 years. But this year the landowner leased the farm out and so I don't have a place to hunt out there now.
It was a very good deal before, just buy a tag and go. They put me up and fed me. I would leave a big tip, but I guess a lease pays more.
It was fun while it lasted

Saw a first tonite  As I was waiting for the Mrs. to come out of the woods, (yea she's a bowhunter too) a buck and doe appeared across the field .  The body language that she exhibited was like nothing I had seen before.  After several minutes of him with his nose in the business end, he mounted her and planted next years seed.  At the very same time, my wife was watching another buck chasing several does in and out of a corn field.   It's happening guys  Get out there.

That’s pretty cool..
Had one around here several years ago.  It was a buck and never heard of anyone shooting it but it did disappear..
