just a reminder ....sept 12th we go to the new york state back ground checks  on guns and ammo  that you have to pay for!!!!  not to mention it is a unproven system that will most likely have bugs , my suggestion  go get what ammo you are going to need for the season now!!!!!
I was in Runnings today and I asked if reloading supplies (IE: powder, primers bullets etc.) will fall under the same rules with ammo regarding the back-ground checks. It was obvious that they have not even been told was the rules will be at all. They were all just guessing and coming up with their own ideas of what would be required. I've already got my own ideas. I may take a ride to Pa one day and stock up if this ends up being a real hassle.

I have a better idea just leave ny I don't think I will be here much longer this is possibly the best state in the country but is being destroyed by Democrats

I was reading an article in the Outdoor News and it sounds like the details have not been communicated to any of the people actually doing the selling.  :o

It’s taken them 10 years to get this in place. It seems straight forward. The gun background checks are pretty much instant?

the back ground checks were instant when we were using the FBI system  we will now be withdrawing from that to use the states  new system ....and  as someone mentioned   no system up  no sales!!!!  i stocked up on  hunting ammo and have been for awhile.......i suggest  everyone do the same  ........
