Bought the 15’ Mansfield when I lived in Stowe. Great stable fishing platform. I changed the gunnels and end caps once too. Used Cherry for the caps and friend had cut an ash tree and milled me some long boards for the gunnels. Good luck with the project

I too am using ash  My younger brother got most of the woodworking talent in the family. He has a barn full of all kinds of wood to work with as he is quite the craftsman. He cut all the boards yesterday now I have the puzzle to put together.

Greensider that's a great idea. Mine are all nailed to the top 1 1/2 feet of wall space all around my garage. I don't know who is going to deal with all this stuff when my time is up. God help him!

Any time you want, you can look up and visualize that day. You can remember the shot and that duck crashing into the water. That's what it's all about Trapp.

This is a pic from my last morning deer hunting. A little skim ice was all I found in southern Hamilton Co. Thought there would be more.

i personally  don't need  horns to remember a good hunt any more  rather see my grandkids   getting excited about  getting out there ......in fact  i don't even care if i shoot a deer anymore  ....doesn't mean as much as it did before .....but going  is what  counts  ..... i like calling in turkeys  but i i don't shoot them ( i'm not a  fan of etting them)....i  did  have alot of  fun  duck hunting this year  first  time  i went  in a  few years  ....... all and  all was a  good hunting season  for  me .....soon  we'll  be on the ice until then i'll  chase  fish in the open water   ;D
