For you Ice fisherman, this is the time of year to test out your Ice fishing float suit if you have one. ( in a shallow pool or close to shore in shallow water) I seen a another post about it. I'm going to test mine as soon as i can get back in the water. I just got the old knee surgery and need to wait a bit more.

Are you talking a float coat or a mustang suit?
-
Izzy, this is what I'm talking about, and what I wear ice fishing https://www.idigear.com/ (https://www.idigear.com/) but I think you should try to test any type of float suit. or even get the feel of floating in a life jacket if you never have before for open water fishing.
The trouble is we forget about doing it in the summer . I hope my suit never sees the ice cold water below the ice, but if it does its nice to know its going to support me.

Thanks for the reminder. I've been wanting to try my striker, but forget

Good reminder, i will try mine out here soon

The real question is do I do a cannon ball or front flip off the pier....? I bet the other anglers out in boats will look confused as a 6 ft 3 skinny guy in a camo striker suit goes for a swim when it's 85 degrees out

there are videos on this guys. lol

Frabil joined the float suit companies. Their suit coast guard approved.
