Title: Bull Lake
Post by: bohman77 on May 30, 2022, 06:01 PM
Has anyone fished this lake in the recent past? I’m heading there this week and going to fly fish and troll. Looking for any tips. Thanks y’all

Have not fished it for a couple years but my buddy used to fish it all the time. He always would go up in the upper part and watch for the fish in the deep water, 70 to 100 feet, and then just bring his downriggers up to where he seen them with a flasher or pop gear with a nightcrawler behind. Usually the guys fly fishing go up to the narrows and fly fish that area up there. Trolling for the rainbows and browns you need to troll fast 2.5 to 4 and the macks we always trolled the riggers about 1 to 1.5. Good luck and hope you catch a few big ones.
